Delivery Info

1. What is the cost of delivery?

Delivery within South Africa is R85.00 for 3-8 working days or R125.00 for 2-5 working days. For countries outside of South Africa a flat rate R 650.00 per order

2. Is there a minimum order for delivery?

No. We are happy to deliver anything you order, with no minimum order.

3. What happens if there is no one home when you deliver?

We will try to arrange for an alternative delivery option with you, but we reserve the right to charge you an additional delivery fee if we cannot do this and need to deliver at another date and time.

We make use of courier services to deliver the goods to you. We are not liable for any damage suffered or any losses incurred arising out of any act or omission by the courier, its directors, employees, sub-contractors, agents or representatives. By shopping with us online, you agree that we may share your personal information with our couriers so they can deliver your goods to you.

Ordering

1. Can I place an order as a Gift for someone else?

Yes. Click the box to indicate that your order is a gift when you checkout. We will wrap your order as a gift and the delivery note will have no prices.

2. Will you have stock of the items that I have ordered?

We do our best to make sure that we have stock on hand of everything offered on our website. Despite our best efforts, sometimes we will not be able to deliver certain items you have ordered. If this happens, we will contact you to let you know.

3. How do I know what price I will pay?

The individual price of each item purchased online is calculated with any promotional discounts applied when you check out. The price you see online is the price that you will be charged when your order is fulfilled.

4. Can I Order By Phone or Email?

Yes. Please contact us and we will assist you to place your order.

5. Can I order online if I do not live in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa?

You can place an order from anywhere, but we only deliver to selected addresses within South Africa at this stage.

6. How do I know if my order has been successfully placed or not?

You’ll see a confirmation page when your order has been successfully authorised, and you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order to the email address specified in your login details. If you can’t find the confirmation email, check your spam/junk mail folders. Contact us if you have any queries about your order.

Personal Details and Privacy

1. Are my personal details secure?

Yes. When we ask you to share private details with us, such as personal or payment information, we ensure that information is encrypted and protected with the best encryption software in the industry – SSL (Secure Socket Layer). (You will notice a lock icon at the bottom of your browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox, confirming that you are on an encrypted page when this is required.)

2. What is a Cookie, and why are they being used on this website?

A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser (for instance, Internet Explorer or Firefox) on your computer. It may contain some personal details, the contents of your shopping basket, and date and time information in an encrypted format, which can be recalled when you return to the Poobie Naidoo’s website to speed up your identification and ordering and delivery processes. To prevent the website from accessing this information, simply disable your cookies in your browser options.

3. Will you sell my e-mail address or personal details to others?

Never. Your information is kept strictly confidential and is never disclosed to third parties. We will also only contact you with news of Poobie Naidoo’s special offers and promotions if you subscribed to our newsletter when you registered on our website. We are committed to protecting your confidentiality and have pledged not to share your information with any outside parties.

4. What happens if someone logs on using my details?

We strongly recommend that you keep your login details and passwords private so that only you can log on to our website. You have the option to change your password in the “My Account” section of the website. If you suspect that someone is accessing the site with your credentials please contact us.

5. What happens if I lose my password?

You can either request a new password to be sent to you by clicking on the “Forgot Password” link on the login page or contact us for assistance.

Privacy Policy/Secure Payment Info

1. Are my credit card details safe?

Yes! We use the highest standard of encryption when passing payment information between your computer and our website. In addition, credit card details which are used for payment on our website are handled according to international best-practice standards with key data removed and encrypted. We do not record or retain any of the PIN or CVV numbers which are used for authentication of your card.

2. How can I pay?

You can pay for your order using any major credit card, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, Mobicred and SnanScan. We gladly accept Poobie Naidoo Gift Cards and Liberty Mall Gift Cards. Unfortunately, we don’t accept cash or cheques on delivery.

3. Can I pay cash or cheques on delivery?

No. We are only able to accept card payments via our website. You can use the following South African cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, Mobicred and SnanScan and we gladly accept Poobie Naidoo Gift Cards, Liberty Mall Gift Cards or Credit Cards.

  • Browse our product range or category.
  • Once you have located the product you would like to purchase, select a size option and then hit the ‘Add to basket’ button.
  • You can continue to browse and add items to your basket until you’re done. When you are finished, click ‘View cart’.
  • You can also enter the style code into the search box and press enter to search for a specific item.
  • To browse the latest stock just click on the magnifying glass next to the search box and it will take you to the latest arrivals.
  • Check that your order is all correct then click ‘Proceed to secure checkout’.
  • Identify yourself by capturing your personal information and delivery details. You can choose to have your order delivered where you wish: to your homes, your place of work or, if the purchase is a gift, you can also choose to have it delivered directly to someone else.
  • You’ll then be sent to our secure Credit Card payment page.
  • Your purchases will be delivered via courier to your door usually within 3 -7 working days, sometimes a bit longer, but we’ll let you know.
  • For remote areas not serviced by our normal courier we will have to deliver via Post Office.

Returns and Refunds

1. Can I return goods purchased on-line?

Yes. We want you to be happy with your purchases. If, for any reason you’re not, you may return items purchased online to any Poobie Naidoo’s store for a full refund, replacement or exchange, provided you have the original tax invoice, and items are returned in a saleable condition within 15 days of purchase. Kindly email melanie@poobienaidoos.co.za for a return or exchange request with your order number as a reference. The customer is liable for the courier cost for any return and/or exchange. The customer may arrange their own courier or If you require us to arrange a pick up and/or delivery we are happy to do so, but the courier fee will be R 140.00 for a collection and/or R 140.00 for a delivery, please note that we bear a portion of the courier cost on each order. (Please note that there are NO refunds on items purchased on sale). For hygiene reasons underwear (excluding bras), swimwear, etc, may not be returned or exchanged. Gift cards purchased will not be refunded. 

Shoe Care

1. Basic

  • Laces should always be undone before the shoes are put on or taken off.
  • Wipe shoes regularly to remove dust and initial dirt
  • Clean your shoes immediately after using them especially if exposed to dust and or mud
  • Wipe shoes with a damp cloth using lukewarm water and a mild soap
  • Use a recommended athletic shoe cleaner, or alternatively use a soft scrubbing brush – never a brush with hard bristles. This may damage the glues and materials used
  • Use only a sports specific shoe cleaner
  • When shoes are wet, stuff with paper to help maintain their shape
  • Wash the innersole separately
  • Do not machine wash your shoes as this damages the clue, fibers and materials used
  • Do not use strong detergents
  • Do not use bleach or any soap that contains ammonia – this will destroy the leather, glue and paintwork used on the shoe
  • Allow the shoes to dry for at least 48 hours before wearing them
  • Allow shoes to dry naturally at room temperature in a well-ventilated area
  • Do not force dry i.e. tumble dry, direct sunlight, oven, heater, microwave, or any other form of artificial heat
